One of the things that you will notice a soon as you get to Placa De Catalunya is the amount of pigeons in the square, feeding on grain which is sold to tourists by vendors.
I have been told that the pigeons are not so popular among some of the city's residents, but nobody can deny the good feeling they add to this area on a sunny day. I deliberately
used bold colours such as blue and purple to show the
humorous characters of these birds as they go on the hunt for grain.
